Summer Games Done Quick is back to an in-person event this year. The event will run in Minnesota from Sunday, June 26, to Sunday, July 3, 2022. This marks the first in-person event since AGDQ 2020 and features a heavy-hitting list of games to celebrate.
Summer Games Done Quick 2022 Reveals Game Schedule
Summer Games Done Quick released the official schedule for the week-long charity event raising money for Doctor’s Without Borders. Some headlining games include Elden Ring, for which we will see two different runs. First is an Any% run featuring some of the major glitches we’ve seen circulating the internet, while the finale run is an All Rememberances run. This means they will have to defeat every main boss in the game, including Malenia.
Kicking off the event on day one is a Shadow of the Colossus random boss rush run. This is sure to be a spectacle for anyone familiar with the game. Of course, there’s a Final Fantasy X run with cutscenes removed and a Yakuza: Like A Dragon speedrun for the RPG fans in the room.
There are many other great games to check out, like a Pokemon Emerald randomizer co-op run, Superhot VR, and a Super Mario Maker 2 relay race.
