This morning Sony announced that a brand-new State of Play will be airing on March 9, 2022, at 5 pm EST. This weeks State of Play is specifically focusing on Japanese Publishers.
Sony Announces State of Play Focused Around Japanese Publishers Set for This Week
The PlayStation Blog says that the show will clock in around 20 minutes “with a special focus on highlighting great games from some of our beloved Japanese publishers, though we’ll have a few updates from other developers located around the world, too.”
According to the PlayStation Blog, there will be no updates on PlayStation VR2 titles or hardware in this broadcast, which isn’t surprising considering many people so don’t have a PlayStation 5 due to the semiconductor shortage and limited availability.
A State of Play focused on Japanese Developers could have a lot of different games in it. From the recently announced Lost Judgement DLC to Final Fantasy XVI, the possibilities are nearly endless.
Luckily it’s only one day away and the speculations won’t have to last long, although we know many of you are already getting your hopes up for something.
You can watch the State of Play Right here once it goes live.
