Once you’ve finished the quest to gain access to the Sundial in the latest season of Destiny 2, you’ll be able to pick up another quest called Keeping Time which will walk you through repairing the Obelisk in order to link it to your Sundial. Keeping Time Destiny 2 Quest Guide – The Sundial
There are a bunch of quest steps in this particular quest, and we’re going to break them down for you along with any tips that we might have about their completion. In order to make sure that you’re able to complete the quest, you’ll have to also make sure that you have the Mars: Obelisk Attunement objective network.
Mars: Obelisk Attunement
To ensure that this is finished post-haste, you’re going to want to loot 50 Salvaged BrayTech from Hive kills. As the name might suggest, you’re going to have to be on Mars to do it. Once this has been done, you need to progress to collecting light.
Mars: Light Collection
You will be tasked with picking up Light in order to power this addition. In order to do so, you’ll have to use your Super and your abilities to take care of enemies. You’ll have to fill up a progress bar while this is happening, so just keep an eye on that in your objectives to track the progress of your Light collection. Once this is done, you have to activate the Obelisk using the power you’ve collected.
Time Lost and Found
You have to finish some Timelost Weapon Bounties to complete this quest. These are obtainable from Obelisks that are Resonance Level 1 and above. Each bounty costs the following materials:
- 10 Polarized Fractaline
- 3000 Glimmer
You have to finish three bounties in total in order to complete this part of the Keeping Time Destiny 2 quest.
Crisis Averted
This is the easy part – now that you’ve plowed through all the above steps, you just have to complete your bounties and then head back to the Sundial in order to finish the quest.
