Restart Last Epoch and wait for server updates to fix the Online Play Unavailable issue. Most of the time, this message is a result of problems on the developer side of the game, so your hands are tied. I still recommend restarting the game to ensure you aren’t stuck with the problem. In some lucky cases, you might find yourself restarting the game and entering without any issues the next time you jump onto your character.

When you reach a point where Online Play Unavailable is a recurring issue, you really only have two options. You can restart your own internet in the hopes that it helps or you can watch for updates from Elventh Hour Games. Their Twitter/X account is usually quick about updates and you can even jump into their official updates for some real-time messages from other players. I personally keep an eye on both of these any time some server issues pop up.

If you run into the “Online Play Unavailable” message during the 1.0 launch, it’s likely a result of so many players attempting to play at the same time. After all, the game has had some high anticipation. Just like before, you just have to ride the wave and hope that Eleventh Hour Games can stabilize the servers. Otherwise, I would take a nice walk or maybe get a coffee before you get back to grinding yet another ARPG.

You might also have issues with the Cycle Character screen, but that’s an easy fix.
