Fastest Methods to Reach Level 50 in Diablo 4

There are three ways to quickly reach level 50 in Diablo 4: playing the campaign, dungeon grinding, and power boosting. Some of the methods are faster than the others, but will depend on which character you are on and if you can group up with other people

The Diablo 4 Campaign

Players who are on their very first character will find that playing through the campaign will be the fastest way to get to level 50. The campaign is about 25 hours in length without stopping to do extra objectives, and players should reach at or above level 50 by the time credits roll.

Completing the campaign is required for players to access higher World Tiers and seasonal content, so best to get it out of the way with the first character. Almost all cutscenes and conversations are skippable for those who want to save some time.

Grinding Dungeons

Playing through Dungeons and Nightmare Dungeons is one of the fastest ways to quickly level up, as it takes all the fluff from the campaign and is simply about destroying hordes of monsters nonstop. This is for players who are on their second or seasonal characters.

Dungeons and Nightmare Dungeons provide small rooms of monsters to fight, which means they are concentrated together and faster to kill. Teaming up with other players will help clear dungeons faster, and provide a small XP boost while fighting alongside one another.

Power Boosting

The power boosting method is technically the fastest way to level 50 in Diablo 4 but requires teaming with a player or players who have a character at a much higher level than you. Basically, your under-leveled character will sit at the beginning of dungeons while the high-level players kill everything with extreme ease, and you still earn XP while doing nothing.

This is handy for seasonal characters and the XP gain will ramp up significantly as your over-leveled friends will complete the Cathedral of Light and Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeons, which are necessary for higher World Tiers and increasing earned XP from monsters. However, this method does require teaming with people who already have a powerful character to make clearing these dungeons trivial.
