When creating a new character in Diablo 4, you can choose to Skip the Campaign right from the creation screen before you enter the world. However, this option will only be present if you’ve previously completed the campaign on at least one character.

After customizing your character’s appearance, you’ll land on the Finalize tab with some options located on the left side of your screen.

Under Gameplay Options, enable Skip Campaign.

Once you enter the game world, your character will instantly appear at the main waypoint in Kyoshavad, and the main story will already be completed.

Forgot to Skip the Campaign? Try This

If you intended to skip the campaign but forgot to click the option to do so, don’t worry, you can still skip it at any time. Simply open up your main menu and choose “Leave Game” to return to the Character Selection screen.

Select your character and look toward the right side of your screen – you’ll see the option to skip the campaign there.

Keep in mind that skipping the campaign means missing out on tons of story quest experience points. That means you’ll have to grind the old-fashioned way. Luckily, there’s a plethora of side quests, dungeons, and strongholds for you to soak up all over the place.
