Compared to all the other modes in Modern Warfare 3, Search and Destroy is a completely unique beast, and it requires a different loadout if you want to be the best. To help you trample the competition, I have the best class setup for you to try out.

Best Competitive Loadout for Search And Destroy in MW3

  • Weapon: MCW
  • Barrel: 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel
  • Muzzle: L4R Flash Hider
  • Rear Grip: RB Claw-PSL Grip
  • Stock: RB Regal Heavy Stock
  • Optic: MK. 3 Reflector

The MCW is the go-to weapon for nearly any SnD match in this year’s Call of Duty. Submachine gun players can fall back on the Rival-9, but the MCW is still the most versatile. With this AR and the attachments listed, you can take on any gunfight. In public matches, there are still some better AR options. However, I recommend sticking to this laser beam for practice.

As for the attachments themselves, they focus on the control of the MCW. Players in SnD will constantly snake or look for cover. You need to be able to quickly kill enemies, so accuracy on the weapon itself is key. Remember that you can always pick the sight that suits you as well.

Best Search and Destroy Class in MW3

  • Secondary: Renetti
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System
  • Gloves: Assault Gloves
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: EOD Padding
  • Vest: Infantry Vest

Most of the options in this class have one other option you can pick from. Frag Grenades, for example, can be swapped for Semtex. The Renetti can be swapped for the COR-45. But everything on the list is part of the SnD class that I swear by. Whether it’s for public matches or some final Game Battles, this loadout is a fantastic starting point.
