Best Holger 556 Loadout and Class Setup in MW3

Feeling fly like a G36

If you’re looking for one of the best assault rifles to use in Modern Warfare 3, then look no further than the Holger 556 in Multiplayer. This beast of a weapon is already one of the top-tier options for mid-range, and I have the perfect loadout.

Best Holger 556 Attachments in MW3 Season 1

  • Barrel: Chrios-6 Match
  • Muzzle: L4R Flash Hider
  • Rear Grip: Morn-20 Grip
  • Stock: RB Addle Assault Stock
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro or Slate Reflector

The main goal for this build is to give this AR as much control and range as possible without hurting the weapon’s mobility. With picks like the Morn-20 and the RB Addle Assault Stock, mobility hits are barely an issue, and we can save our slots for more control instead of ADS speed.

Best Perks and Class for the Holger 556 in MW3

Here are the best perks and equipment for the Holger 556 in Modern Warfare 3:

  • Vest: Infantry Vest
  • Gloves: Marksman Gloves
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: Ghost T/V Camo or EOD Padding
  • Tactical: Stim
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade or Semtex
  • Field Equipment: Trophy System
  • Sidearm: Renetti

Covert Sneakers are always a must for silent footsteps in Multiplayer. Ghost is optional, but I prefer staying off the radar in respawn modes when UAV spam is so common.

How to Unlock the Holger 556 in Modern Warfare 3

You can unlock the Holger 556 once you reach level 37 in MW3. This is a little past the halfway mark in the initial leveling process. If you want the LMG version earlier, go through the armory unlock system.

There is also an Aftermarket Parts conversion kit that you can earn called the JAK Signal Burst. This conversion makes the Holger a four-round burst, and if you want to try it out, make sure to complete your weekly challenges in Season 1.

For a full outline of those unlocks, check out my guide on the Armory Unlock system in Multiplayer.
