With Call of Duty: Black Ops II hitting stores rather quickly, the community is building up for some thrilling multiplayer match-ups. But don’t think you’ll be able to get away with anything when it comes to streaming YouTube matches and letting loose on your opponents.
According to a set of rules that Treyarch officially posted this morning in their forums, there ARE things that can easily get you banned from the servers, perhaps even to the point of being permanent. “Any user who is found to have offensive or unauthorized content in their live stream is subject to penalty,” Treyarch states. “Offensive content includes but is not limited to foul language, racially charged language, and nudity. Unauthorized content includes but is not limited to unlicensed music, TV shows, movies and brand logos.”
Furthermore, minor offenders will have temporary bans from streaming on YouTube, while those who go to more extremes will be reported to have their account deleted entirely. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, hooligans.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II hits stores tomorrow for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3, and November 18th for Wii U.
