It’s the Festival of the Lost! And you know what that means! It’s time to turn those ghostly Spectral Pages into something tangible. Here’s how to convert your Spectral Pages and get Manifested Pages in Destiny 2.
How to Turn Spectral Pages into Manifested Pages in Destiny 2
For a game about immortal space aliens, there sure are a lot of dead guardians. But dead doesn’t mean forgotten. That’s the entire premise of the Festival of the Lost and the Book of the Forgotten. This tattered tome is where you can put your Manifested Pages and read about all of those who’ve had their last death.
And, fortunately, getting Manifested Pages is pretty easy in Destiny 2.
First, you’ll need Spectral Pages. Spectral Pages can be obtained by wearing a Festival of the Lost mask while completing specific activities. You must be wearing a mask. If you don’t know where to get one, if you’ve dismantled yours, speak to Eva in the Tower to purchase a new one.
The activities you can complete to obtain Spectral Pages are:
- Doing playlist activities (crucible, gambit, strikes).
- Doing public events.
- Doing a Nightfall.
- Doing Seasonal activities (Savathun’s Spire and the Altars of Summoning).
- Doing raids.
By completing these activities, there’s a chance (not guaranteed!) that you’ll get one to three Spectral Pages. Once you have a Spectral Page, the only way to turn it into a Manifested Page is to complete Haunted Lost Sectors in the event playlist.
The Haunted Lost Sector playlist can be accessed either through the Tower Map or by interacting with the hologram tree beside Eva in the Tower. Once you’ve started a Haunted Lost Sector, you’ll need to defeat Haunted Ones. As you defeat Haunted Ones, you’ll start manifesting Manifested Pages.
During each Haunted Lost Sector, you can manifest up to three Manifested Pages. This means that if you have more Spectral Pages you want to convert, you’ll need to do another Haunted Lost Sector.
What Should You Do with Manifested Pages in Destiny 2
Once you have a Manifested Page, return to the Tower. Go to Eva, and you’ll see that she has a bookstand to the right of her. Interact with it, and you’ll find yourself in the Book of the Forgotten menu. You can then deposit Manifested Pages into the tome. Each chapter will require two Manifested Pages, and there are thirty-three chapters in total.
That means you should expect to run the Haunted Lost Sector 12 times in order to convert all of your Spectral Pages into Manifested Pages if you hope to complete the book!
