Getting the correct pieces of gear in Starfield can make a world of difference for improving your character. While some of the starter weapons can get the job done, they’re often far less effective than the ones you can both find and buy. One such bit of gear is hidden away, though can be helpful for some. Here’s how to get the Bounty Hunter spacesuit in Starfield.
Where to Find the Bounty Hunter Spacesuit in Starfield
To get to the Bounty Hunter spacesuit in Starfield, you’ll need to either begin or have finished the Mantis side mission. If you have yet to unlock it, kill Spacers until one of them has the Secret Outpost slate on their body. Read it, then head to the moon Denebola I-B in the Denebola system. There you’ll find the Lair of the Mantis/Secret Outpost landing zone, which you’ll want to land at. Clear out any nearby Spacer enemies, then head inside.
Keep clearing Spacers and making your way into the facility until you come across a large room, filled with machinery keeping the facility alone. It comes immediately after a large stairwell so it’s tough to miss. Immediately next to the glass window, there’s a bed with the Bounty Hunter spacesuit sitting nicely in a gold case.
Is the Bounty Hunter Spacesuit Worth Using?
If you’re early enough in the game where you’re doing the Mantis side mission, then the Bounty Hunter spacesuit is a powerful upgrade to get early. It doesn’t come with special affixes, but has over 100 on Physical, Energy, and EM resistances. The fact that it gives resistances across the board is huge on its own. The only issue is its weight, which comes in at a staggering 20.90 Mass. Still, it’s the price you pay for nice armor.
