Nightmare Dungeons are the best way to grind for experience and gear in the Diablo 4 endgame, but there is only a limited pool of locations you can encounter. To make sure you get the locations you are looking for on Sigils, I have the full list of available Nightmare locations in Sanctuary. Here are all Nightmare Dungeons in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 – All Nightmare Dungeon Locations

There are 115 dungeons in Diablo 4, but only about 20 of those locations are used as Nightmare equivalents. Knowing which locations suit your build best can aid in grinding through the dungeons as fast as possible. For example, I can’t stand running dungeons with serpent enemies and the Suppresor Affixes to go along. So when I can, I avoid them and use another Sigil. All of the locations are listed below.

All Nightmare Dungeons in Diablo 4:

  • Maugan’s Works
  • Renegade’s Retreat
  • Kor Dragan Barracks
  • Cultist Refuge
  • Champion’s Demise
  • Dark Ravine
  • Prison of Caldeum
  • Crusaders’ Cathedral
  • Aldurwood
  • Shadowed Plunge
  • Ancient’s Lament
  • Witchwater
  • Whispering Pines
  • Conclave
  • Onyx Hold
  • Maulwood
  • Ferals’ Den
  • Guulrahn Canals
  • Zenith Nightmare
  • Demon’s Wake
  • Blind Burrows
  • Sunken Ruins
  • Shiva Ruins

This is the current main list of possible Nightmare Dungeons at World Tier 4, but that doesn’t paint the full picture. While the layouts and the locations typically remain the same, along with the main objectives, the Affixes will be randomized. On Ancestral Nightmare Sigils, there are up to five different affixes, which can climb higher toward Tier 100. Four Affixes are negative while one will be a buff for the player.

When new Seasons drop in Diablo 4, there is a chance that fresh Nightmare Dungeon locations will be added to the rotation, which would be great for variety. But we will have to wait and see how those are handled.

While you’re in each dungeon, make sure to keep an eye out for the Razorplate unique armor as you grind through monsters.
