What to Do With the Broken Blade of Ambition in Destiny 2 – Answered

How does a fish even carry a sword

Who doesn’t love a ridiculous and convoluted Exotic Quest? I sure do! Especially when it involves fishing. And this week, our new Exotic fish friend was carrying a Broken Blade of Ambition. Here’s what to do with that Broken Blade of Ambition in Destiny 2.

How to Find the Broken Blade of Ambition Thrall Statue in Destiny 2

If there’s one thing that Xivu Arath seems to love, it’s giving rare fish broken swords. And the second fish to be carrying a blade this season is the Vexing Placoderm. The Vexing Placoderm will give you the Broken Blade of Ambition once you turn it into the aquarium in the H.E.L.M., and that Broken Blade goes to the second Thrall Statue in the Deep Dive Mission. Here’s how to find it.

First, load into the Deep Dive Mission on the H.E.L.M. map.

Once you’re in, you’ll need to complete the first drilling section of the mission. To do that, you’ll need to destroy Servitors. There are two waves of Servitors, with four Servitors in each wave. Once a Servitor is defeated, it will drop fuel, which you can then take to your drill to refill it.

To the left of your screen, you’ll be able to see drill progress. Once the drill progress reaches 100%, leave the room that the drill is in. You’ll enter a wide-open area. To the left, on a platform, will be a room.

This room will remain closed until drilling is 100% complete.  If you’re not sure where to go, check out our video below.

Enter the room, offer the blade to the Thrall statue, and hear some more threatening cooing from Xivu Arath.
