Whirlwind builds have been some of the most popular for the Barbarian class since Diablo 4 launched and Gohr’s Devastating Grips are one of the best uniques to boost it. To make the most of your Barbarian, I will cover how you can get the unique gloves and what the effects are on your build.

Where to Get the Gohr’s Devastating Grips Unique in Diablo 4

To get Gohr’s Devastating Grips, you can complete Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, and Tree of Whispers quests on World Tier 3 or Higher. Other activities like World Bosses are also fantastic ways to ensure rare drops due to the difficulty and the weekly reward caches that are given out at the end of the battle in Diablo 4. I personally like to run through Nightmare Dungeons for the best results.

Keep in mind, though, that nearly any kind of activity at World Tier 3 or World Tier 4 will have a chance to drop unique items. Even simply taking out groups of mobs or searching containers in a dungeon will have the chance of incredibly rare loot. It just won’t be the best use of your time in the game to rely on these methods.

Diablo 4 Gohr’s Devastating Grips Effect

Gohr’s Devastating Grips will add an explosion to the end of the Whirlwind ability on the Barbarian. The explosion after the effect ends can go up to nearly 30% of the base damage, which is a massive boost when taking on groups of mobs around dungeons or the Sanctuary overworld.

On top of the explosion effect, the unique gloves will also add extra ranks to the Whirlwind ability in general. That means more base damage for the actual ability that will translate to the damage scaling for the explosion as well.
