How to Get Nightshade and its God Roll in Destiny 2

Nightshade is a legendary kinetic Pulse Rifle with a lightweight frame. This ensures that you move a little faster when you have it equipped, giving you a slight boost in both PvP and PvE activities. But how do you get your hands on it?

The answer is, blessedly, straightforward. All you need to do is complete Vanguard strikes, Nightfalls, or claim rank up passages from the Vanguard Vendor, Commander Zavala. While it’s not one of the weapons you can focused decode, it’s a fairly common drop.

Unfortunately, Nightshade isn’t craftable, which means that if you have a specific roll you want on it, you’ll have to keep farming out those strikes. To make this easier, it’s a good idea to select a week where Vanguard’s reputation is boosted.

As for what roll to aim for, Nightshade functions equally well in PvP and PvE, though there are certainly better Pulse Rifles to choose from in the former. No Time to Explain dominated the competitive scene for quite some time, and BxR-55 Battler is another good alternative.

But if you love Nightshade, here’s the God Roll for it.
