Sometimes, those quests will send you on a journey into the deepest chasm or half-way across the world. But in the case of Crop Revival, you only need to stroll outside of town. In Agnea’s hometown of Cropdale, you’ve likely encountered the Weaver, who is desperately searching for a sample of Cropdale’s traditional textile patterns. It’s a noble ambition, so let’s help him out.

As you might expect, the Cropdale pattern is nearby. But you can scrutinize, inquire, and bribe everyone in town and not find even a hint of its location. Instead, you’ll need to go north, past the item shop, and out onto the Forest Path.

Instead of following the trail all the way up, take a left. Beside the save point you’ll see Elderly Woman’s Son. Speak to him, and he’ll mention he’s been taking care of his elderly mother and has recently gotten rid of a load of her old junk.

But one man’s junk is another man’s treasure.

Scrutinize, inquire, or bribe the Elderly Woman’s Son and a hidden item will be revealed. This hidden item is in the water mill “deep in the forest”. But actually, we can see it where we’re standing speaking the Elderly Woman’s Son.

Head over the bridge, then towards the pier. Jump on a canoe and make your way to the old water mill just on the other bank. Inside, you’ll find the hidden item Crop Tapestry Pattern.

Take this pattern back to the Weaver in Cropdale. For your effort, he’ll reward you 3,000 leaves, an Invigorating Nut, and an Inspiriting Plum (M).
