We also know exactly how much SR, or Skill Rating, will be needed to enter each division, all the way up to the top 250 of the Ranked Play mode. In this guide, we’ll cover all of the Skill Divisions in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play as it arrives in the game for Season 2.

COD MW2 Ranked Play – Every Skill Division and SR

There are technically eight different Skill Divisions in the Ranked Play mode that players can progress through. Seven of them are genuine divisions while the eighth is the Top 250 of the mode, so there is no SR involved there. Everyone will start the Ranked Play season at Bronze and will have to work their way up to the top. Below you can find all of the divisions and how much SR is needed for each one.

Ranked Play Skill Divisions Listed:

  • Bronze – 0 – 899 SR
  • Silver – 900 – 2,099 SR
  • Gold – 2,100 – 3,599 SR
  • Platinum – 3,600 – 5,399 SR
  • Diamond – 5,400 – 7,499 SR
  • Crimson – 7,500 – 9,999 SR
  • Iridescent – 10,000+ SR
  • Top 250 – 10,000+ SR

To gain SR, players will need to win matches at any cost. Your personal performance will affect how much SR is gained or lost in MW2 Ranked Play, but victory is the most important. As players climb the ranks, team performance will be taken into account at a higher rate. In the lower ranks though, it’s every player for themselves.
