All Power Extender Locations

The first Power Extender is found inside Hivory Towers, the main hub for Yooka-Laylee. Look for Capital B’s golden statue, and then use your Buddy Slam power on his nose to break it off and discover the Power Extender inside.

The next Power Extender is located in World 1, Tribalstack Tropics. Expand the Grand Tome using Pagies, and then climb to the top of the Monument in the back left-hand area of the world. Head through the door in the back of the Monument, and make your way up to the top where a cannon and an invisible statue await. Use Sonar Shot to activate the statue, which will in turn activate a set of platforms that will take you even higher. Keep going until you reach the peak of the stone arches and claim this Power Extender.

Next up players should head to World 2, Glitterglaze Glacier. Once here, head to Crystalline Cave, which is near the start of the level. Head through the cave until you reach several snowmen enemies. Use Slurp State on the nearby Beehive to make Yooka sticky, and then roll up the ramp to a new path. Once you reach some cannon balls, use Slurp State to eat one, making Yooka much heavier. This will allow you to sneak past Mr. Blowy, and claim the Power Extender further up the path.

Head out of World 2 and make your way to World 3, Moodymaze Marsh. If you’re having trouble finding it, check out our guide on how to find World 3. Once there, expand the Grand Tome, and then look for an area with several floating logs. Here you should find a Mr. Blowy, as well as a pumpkin and an open pipe. Move through the pipe to reach some platforms, and cross over them to another pipe. Climb up from the pipe to a tree, and then up to the next pipe to reach this Power Extender at the top.

Look out for the ball puzzle in Capital Cashino to find this Power Extender. You’ll need to Mollycool to do it, though, so be sure to check out our guide on how to find all the Mollycool’s in the game. Once you have it, fly up to the top of the maze to find the Power Extender.

The last Power Extender in the game is found in World 5, Galleon Galaxy. Make your way to the world, and then use SonarShield to get past the lasers behind the lighthouse. There are some buttons here that you can press to disable the lasers. Once they are disabled, head back to the nearby spinning turbine and look for the Power Extender inside.

We’d suggest grabbing each of these Power Extenders as early as possible. They prolong your ability to use powers like Flappy Flight, which can be very helpful in later worlds and puzzles.
