Will V Rising Release on Console? – Answered

Still a bit away.

V Rising is fully releasing on PC via Steam in a few days and players couldn’t be more excited to relish the game in its complete form, especially after years of testing in early access. Unfortunately, it’s not launching on any other platform right now. However, it might be arriving on console sooner than most think.

Is V Rising Releasing on Console?

The latest upcoming vampire action-adventure, open-world game is here and it’s fully launching on Steam on May 8, 2024, after years of development in early access. And while it will only be playable on PC for the next few months or so, there are plans for the game to launch on console.

V Rising will release on PlayStation 5 later in 2024, but there’s no actual launch date yet. Players can expect the release to happen in the second half of 2024, most likely toward the end of the year. Unfortunately for other platforms, there have been no announcements of V Rising arriving on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S | X, and Nintendo Switch—meaning players will only be able to enjoy the game on PC and PlayStation 5 in 2024. However, that doesn’t mean the game won’t be released on other platforms in the future. It could take a year or so for the developer, Stunlock Studios, to produce a working version of the game for other platforms and it’s definitely not an impossible feat, so stay optimistic.

That said, V Rising does come out in a few days on PC, so for those who can’t wait for the game to hit console, playing on Steam might be the best option here until more news arrives. We’ll endeavor to continue covering V Rising for a while, so stay tuned for more news, guides, and lists on Prima Games.
