EA College Football 25 marks the return of a beloved franchise and, while the genre has plenty of different titles across top studios, it’s not every day when college sports come to the limelight. Will EA College Football 25 Have Players from Real Life?

EA College Football 25 is expected to boast over 10,000 athletes from over 120 FBS teams in the United States. About 12,000 college athletes have reportedly signed in to participate and ensure that they’re available on the in-game rosters.

Of course, it could be a different matter altogether when it comes to getting in-game scanned faces. In fact, EA Sports might refrain from scanning the in-game faces of every athlete who could be found in the game. However, we should expect to see bigger names like Arch Manning, The Texas Longhorn’s Backup QB and nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning.

Similarly, all members of the 2025 Draft Class are also likely to be present on the rosters, along with having their scanned in-game faces. The exact details are likely to be revealed when the official information is announced by the developers. Until then, fans will need to wait to find out more about what’s waiting for them. An official announcement is expected in March 2024 according to insiders, but EA Sports has thus far remained tight-lipped about its plans.

Will EA College Football 25 Athletes Get Paid?

Every athlete who has opted in to be present in the game will be paid in both cash and kind. They will receive $600 and a copy of the game. Additionally, they will also have the bragging rights of being present in a video game that could be played by millions after launch. EA Sports will want to replicate the success it has had with its other sports-based titles like EA FC 24, Madden 24, and more.
