Does the idea of two Killers and eight Survivors attempting to escape their Trails sound like a blast to play in Dead by Daylight? It may be time to download the game’s mobile version unless this new mode comes to the core version.
Will New Game Modes Come To Dead By Daylight?
While fans have been clamoring for new game modes over the years, it seems that Dead by Daylight Mobile will have exclusive access to this particular game mode for the foreseeable future. While they share the name, Dead by Daylight and Dead by Daylight Mobile are developed by two different companies. This means that no progress is shared between the two platforms, and they each have their cosmetics, Killers, Survivors, and map rotations when compared side by side.
It also looks like it will be the first version to receive any differentiating game modes, with a new mode being exclusively added to the Mobile version of Dead by Daylight that will let two Killers team up against a team of eight survivors. If the reception is warm enough, however, the team at Behaviour could likely add something like this to the Core game in the future.
However, as a standard Dead by Daylight player who hasn’t touched the mobile version, I can’t help but be a little jealous of this new game mode. It sounds like a blast, and if recent games like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre have shown us anything, teamwork makes the dream work. We can only watch from the sidelines for the time being and hope that a game mode like this will soon make its way to the bigger screen. At least we’ve got Chucky to look forward to.
