If you’ve recently jumped into the Fog for your own in Dead by Daylight, you may be wondering how people have gotten their hands on Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington from Stranger Things. Being able to jump into this world as your favorite Netflix duo seems like a dream come true, especially if you’re facing off against the demonic Demogorgon as a killer. But, why aren’t they available to purchase anymore, with some codes going almost as high as $300?
Where Did The Stranger Things DLC Go In Dead By Daylight?
Newer DBD players may have run into Steve and Nancy mains in the lobby, or they may have faced off against the Demo-Doggy in their Trail, and now they’re interested in getting a copy of this DLC for their own. Well, good luck, because almost every reseller is going to get you for nearly the cost of a Nintendo Switch.
On November 17, 2021, the Stranger Things DLC packs were pulled from digital storefronts, mainly due to the license’s expiration. This makes it one of the rarest packs to have in this day and age, and players know what they have. While unconfirmed, it could be that Netflix hopes to keep their properties for themselves due to their game service that continues to grow.

Now, if you’re hoping to add these characters to your game, you’ll need to pray that you’re not getting scammed off of a 3rd Party key seller site. you can also check into sites like eBay to purchase a Stranger Things edition copy of the game for your console of choice. These can still cost quite a bit, and due to the lack of cross-progression in the game, they will be locked to your specific console & tag.
Will The Stranger Things DLC Ever Return To Dead by Daylight?
There is a small light at the end of the tunnel, or maybe it’s just a Survivor trying to get a flashlight save; it’s hard to tell. While Stranger Things content has been very few and far between as of late, a new collaboration on a specific Roblox experience has people excited that Netflix is loosening the grasp on the license once again.
Does this mean that Stranger Things will be making its triumphant return to Dead by Daylight? It’s hard to say yet, but I wouldn’t hold your breath… unless you’re trying to hide in a locker or something. It seems like this will be a pack that’s lost to time and unknown factors, so we may need to look on in envy of those who could get their hands on it when it was available.
