Where to Look in Allard’s Chambers in Dragon’s Dogma 2

I have to be upfront and fair with you readers — it took me far too long to realize that Dragon’s Dogma 2 loves hidden doors that lead into special little areas. The first time I encountered one was within the walls of Allard’s Chambers, but only after smashing everything I possibly could and swearing a storm up and down in real life. After exploring further, however, I noticed that part of the wall on the western portion of the room near the small table looked a little funny.

Well, it’s because it was funny — there is a secret room back here that leads toward our goal for the mission “An Unsettling Encounter”. Once you enter the room, you’ll spot a glowing item that you can pick up, and you’re ready to embark on the next portion of your quest. Of course, there is a roadblock, however, and you’ll need to escape the room before anyone can spot you creeping around inside of it.

On the eastern wall of the bedroom, there is a window that is slightly cracked open. Use this to make your daring escape, and get ready to book it to the entrance of the village of Vernworth once again. Go speak to Brant inside of the bar to complete this portion of the quest to reclaim what is rightfully yours.
