Moonblast Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Where to Get Moonblast TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

In the name of the moon, I will punish you!

Fairy was the last type to be introduced in the Pokemon series and it had very mixed reactions at the time. Many praised it for being a new and creative way of renewing the games as well as now having access to another check for Dragon types. Others just couldn’t get through the fact that fairies could somehow not only kill dragons but also be immune to their attacks. I still don’t get completely how it works, but I love how silly that sounds.

One of the best Fairy moves is Moonblast, boasting its huge 95 base power alongside the chance of lowering the target’s Special Attack. Did I mention it also has 100% accuracy? Yeah, that thing’s busted and it’s the prime choice for any Fairy Special Attacker.

Being such a huge powerhouse, one would love to teach it to every single Fairy they can. But where can you get a Moonblast TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Well, here’s where you’ll find out.

How to Find the Moonblast TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Praying to the skies at night won’t do you any good as there is no TM associated with Moonblast in any of the core Pokemon games. This means that you cannot teach that Move to a Pokemon that doesn’t learn it naturally by leveling.

Luckily, some of the Pokemon that need it the most such as Gardevoir and Sylveon will learn it eventually as they get stronger, so don’t worry about that. And for those Fairy physical hitters, you’ll always have the option of going with Play Rough, which does have a TM in both generations 8 and 9.
