How To Get A Handheld Game Console in Persona 3 Reload (P3R)
After a day at school, you’ll have some time to burn while you work on leveling up your Social Links with your favorite individuals. While Junpei may be a bit of a slacker and a little bit of a dope, he’s one of my favorites — not just because he has the item we need to complete this task, either. If you’re hoping to get a Handheld Game Console, you won’t need to rush out to a store to purchase it, you’ll just need to speak with Junpei in the Lounge when he has an Exclamation Point above his head.
For example — on 5/25, Junpei was seated at the small island in the Iwatodai Dorms eating a bowl of ramen with the Exclamation Mark above his head. Initiate a conversation with him and he’ll let you know that he happens to have a Handheld Game Console that he’ll happily hand over to you since he’s playing on the newer, slimmer model anyway. Select the choices that you’d like when he continues to ask if you want to play a game with him later and add the item to your inventory.
Now that you have the Handheld Console in your possession, it’s time to visit Elizabeth in the Velvet Room. If you’re not looking to explore, there is an alternate way to visit her, as well. Now it’s time to get your reward.
How To Give Elizabeth The Handheld Console in Persona 3 Reload
You can either visit Elizabeth in the Velvet Room when you’re about to explore Tartarus or visit the Paulownia Mall and head toward the Back Alley underneath the Karaoke Bar. You’ll find Elizabeth outside, likely with an Exclamation Point above her head, signaling that you have something that she wants. Speak to her about your Requests and hand over the Handheld Console to get your reward.
What Do You Receive For Giving Elizabeth The Handheld Game Console in Persona 3 Reload
After examining the Game Console, she’ll give it back to you — sadly you can’t play any games on it while exploring Persona 3 Reload, but it’s the thought that counts… right? Instead, she’ll hand over the Pixel Vest which can only be used by Male S.E.E.S. members and is worth the trouble of obtaining this particular item. The Pixel Vest offers the following;
- A vest that kindles nostalgia with its 8-bit design.
- 69 Defense
- +10 SP
- Male Only
It’s going to offer more defense than most armor that you can obtain at this point in the game, so it’s easily worth going out of your way to obtain. Thankfully, once you know where to get it, the Handheld Game Console isn’t hard to find, you’ll just need to wait until the time is right to finally claim it.
