Where to Find Warm Clothes in Tears of The Kingdom

Stay warm out there.

You will traverse all sorts of difficult obstacles in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom. One that you’ll encounter fairly early on is cold weather. If the temperature drops low enough into the blue meter on your thermometer in the bottom right side of your screen, you’re going to start to lose health. There are many ways to mitigate this, but warm clothing is the most permanent option. Here’s where you can find warm clothing in Tears of The Kingdom.

Where to Find Warm Clothes in Tears of The Kingdom

When you’re on The Great Sky Islands, the game’s tutorial section where you’re obtaining all of Link’s newfound abilities, you’ll eventually come across the Archaic Warm Greaves. These will help tremendously in the early hours of the game. We have a full guide on how to find the Archaic Warm Graves here. Be sure to take a look at that and pick those up.

However, as you reach more frigid temperatures, you’re going to need more clothes.

The next place you’ll want to look is the Rito Village.

How to Get Warm Clothes at The Rito Village

The Rito Village is found on the west side of the map. The coordinates are (-3630, 1786, 0186.)

Here you’ll be able to purchase the following items at the shop in Rito village.

  • Snowquill Headdress – 650 Rupees
  • Snowquill Tunic – 500 Rupees
  • Snowquill Trousers – 1,000 Rupees

These are some of the best cold-resistance armor pieces in the game, so you’ll want to ensure you head here if you’re having trouble finding more warm clothing.

You can make it to Rito Village almost immediately once you step foot in Hyrule, I do recommend doing the main story until you unlock the paraglider if you haven’t yet. It will make traversing the steep mountains of Hebra much easier.
