Where to Get a Mole Miner Pail in Fallout 76

While you can find Mole Miners in Fallout 76 throughout Appalachia, but especially in the Savage Divide and Ash Heap, if you want a Mole Miner Pail, you must tackle the Treasure Hunter event for the best pails. But if you don’t mind lesser rewards, you can craft Mole Miner Pails by purchasing empty pails from vendor bots across Appalachia.

In the Treasure Hunter event, passive Mole Miners will spawn throughout the dangerous zones of Appalachia (anywhere enemies spawn) and slowly wander the game world. You must track them, take them out, and collect your rewards. It’s a bit of a challenge to find them, of course, but that’s part of the fun. Plus, the rewards are usually top-tier!

What is the Mole Miner Pail?

The Mole Miner Pail is a consumable unique item available via crafting that you open to obtain amazing rewards. These rewards stem from the Treasure Hunter community event and often include:

  • Goodies
  • Caps
  • Legendary Scrip
  • Taxidermy Plans
  • Treasure Hunt Plans
  • Treasure

Furthermore, there are a few different types of Mole Miner Pail available, including:

  • Crafted Dusty Mole Miner Pail
  • Crafted Mole Miner Pail
  • Crafted Ornate Mole Miner Pail
  • Dusty Mole Miner Pail
  • Mole Miner Pail
  • Ornate Mole Miner Pail

The higher the tier, the better the rewards. For example, an Ornate Mole Miner Pail will provide significantly better prizes and more caps than the Dusty Mole Miner Pail.

Once you have your Mole Miner Pail and the rewards it unlocks, we recommend learning about the best mutations in the game to help flesh out your build.
