Where to Find Shotgun in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Everybody jumps from the sound of the shotgun

Resident Evil 4 Remake has remained faithful to the 2005 original in many aspects, including the wide range of weapons at your disposal. But, because this is still a survival horror game, new guns, rifles, and other fun weaponry for removing insane villagers, cultists, and other monsters will be difficult to come across. You must purchase them from the Merchant, and some that you obtain on the field may be overlooked.

Where to Find Shotgun in Resident Evil 4 Remake

At the very beginning of the game, after Leon observes the unpleasant situation with binoculars when the villagers burn the Spanish policeman alive at the stake, the first survival battle begins in the center of the village, where it is necessary to hold out for some time before the church bell rings, and everybody leaves for Bingo.

Since it’s the beginning of the game, you don’t have enough weapons and ammunition to fight off the whole village and especially not the maniac with the chainsaw who will chase you. The best tactic is to avoid them by running around as long as you can. In all that panic and chaos, it is possible to miss the house where there is a Shotgun hanging on the wall.

See the map below for the exact location, it is on the second floor.

Once you pick the Shotgun up, you can start using it immediately, but since you won’t have much ammunition or materials to craft more shells, it’s best to save it for later, because the first fight will definitely end on its own after some time has passed. The Shotgun can later be upgraded at the Merchant, where it is possible to increase its firepower, ammo capacity and reload speed, so save those Pesetas.

Resident Evil 4 Remake comes out on March 24, for last-gen and next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles and the PC.
