Tower of Fantasy Laver

Where to Find Laver in Tower of Fantasy

Where could it be? Find out here!

After starting up Tower of Fantasy, venturing into Banges and approaching the NPC Patty, she’ll immediately exclaim her love for gourmet food. Her initial idea of good food is laver, a purple seaweed found along the Banges coast. However, after searching for a while, you’ll likely only see scallops, conch shells and sea urchins.

Rather than searching along the southern coastline, you’ll have to head north past the Banges Dock. You’ll have to travel all the way past the B-02 Ruins until you reach the beach south of the Signal Station Ruins Spacerift. Just be careful since there are multiple Strongholds around this area! If you have the Spacerift unlocked already, transmit to it and go directly south.

Once you approach the northern coastline, stay along the sand and water. You’ll eventually spot some purple, sparkling plant-like items along the ground. This item is the laver you’re looking for.

Thankfully, it spawns frequently in this area, meaning you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding enough to finish the side mission. If you’d like, you can also snag some extra for cooking.

After gathering some laver, you have multiple options for what to do with it. You can either hand it to various NPCs for side missions or start cooking. While there aren’t too many recipes specifically containing laver, you can create the following dishes:

  • Seaweed and Egg Soup: Laver x2 and Poultry Egg x1
  • Caviar Sushi: Caviar x1, Rice x2 and Laver x2
