Where to Find Coolant Raknoids in Warframe

Some systems in Warframe are hidden away for very specific things, and often are a bit obscure when you do need to find them. Here’s where to find Coolant Raknoids in Warframe.

Where to Look For Coolant Raknoids in Warframe

Coolant Raknoids can be found at the Temple of Profit in the Orb Vallis in Warframe. They can be found in the top-left of the map, following the large Exploiter Orb patrolling near the tower. You’ll know you’re in the right spot when you hear large footsteps from the Orb itself, or when you see its giant blue body. It’s a tough one to miss. Once you see it, you should see some Coolant Raknoids close by.

While the Exploiter Orb itself is mostly invulnerable, the Coolant Raknoids can be freely killed. When killed, they will drop a Refined Coolant Canister, which can then be brought to a fracture during the Thermia Fractures event about once a month. Filling these canisters up with Thermia will get you Diluted Thermia. This can be brought to the Deck 12 cave in the East of Orb Vallis to spawn the Exploiter Orb and begin her boss fight. Don’t do this unless you’re fully prepared or have a solid squad with you.

What About During the Exploiter Orb Fight?

There is one other place that Coolant Raknoids can spawn, and that’s during the Exploiter Orb fight. While you’re trying to overheat the Orb, several Coolant Raknoids will spawn around the arena and attempt to reach her to cool her off. These can be found coming from the nearby mountains and either side of the massive valley. Take them out before they reach the Orb, or the fight will take much longer.
