You will quickly learn that not all things are as you imagine them to be in the world of Lies of P, and its sidequests are the most blatant proof of that. One of them involves finding a certain Baby Puppet around the city of Krat, and here’s everything you need to know about said mechanical infant.

How to Find the Baby Puppet in Lies of P

A few houses away from the Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard Stargazer, you will find an interactable window next to an elite cop puppet (that might or might not give you some trouble). Approach said window to speak with the Weeping Woman. She asks for your help to find her baby, who was last seen near Krat City Hall. You’ll happen to visit that place in one way or another later, so keep proceeding through the game.

After beating the Mad Donkey and reaching the City Hall’s entrance, turn to your right to see another elite Puppet smashing the ground next to a wall. Deal with it and interact with that ground to find the Baby Puppet, which is all that’s left from the massacre. From here, return to the Weeping Woman and deliver the Baby Puppet, which you believe is the closest thing you’ll get to her actual baby.

Which Answer Should You Pick About the Baby Puppet in Lies of P?

The woman can barely see the baby due to her condition with the Petrification Disease, and she asks your opinion about it. You can tell her it’s a puppet (truth) or tell her it is beautiful (lie). Here are the consequences.

Tell Her the Truth (That’s a Puppet)

If you tell her the truth, she asks if her family convinced you to lie, but still thank you anyway. You only get a Clear Ergo Fragment as a reward.

Lie to Her (She’s a cute baby)

If you are polite to her, she’ll thank you and claim they’ll be happy forever now. You get the Feel Vinyl record and a Vivid Ergo Fragment for your kind words.

Lying does give you more rewards, so this is probably the best call in a first playthrough. You can’t change your answer after you choose it (the game automatically saves when you do), so be careful! Truths and lies can alter the course of your playthrough, so choose them wisely.
