Where Do Camels Spawn in Minecraft - Answered

The latest update for Minecraft brought a lot of interesting new stuff, and it seems that many of the new items and mechanics that were added are related to Archeology. What goes better with the exploration of ancient ruins than the Egyptian-like desert biome, so some novelties are added there as well – such as entirely new ridable Camels. Let’s find out where those humped sand llamas spawn and what you need to do in order to tame them in Minecraft 1.20

How to Find Camels in Minecraft 1.20?

To find Camels in Minecraft 1.20 look for them in the Desert biome, because they will spawn exclusively there near the Desert Villages. Now, there’s a catch, if you’re playing a pre-created map from a previous version of Minecraft, camels will almost certainly not spawn in Desert Villages you’ve already discovered – you’ll have to find new Villages for a chance to see Camel spawn there. However, if you create a new map in Minecraft 1.20 and use some Desert Seed for example, you’ll run into Camels almost instantly – so keep that in mind. Also, don’t mess around and kill these wonderful creatures, because if you do, they won’t spawn for you again in the same Village, so one Village one Camel.

How to Tame Camels in Minecraft 1.20?

To tame wild Camels give them some Cactus Blocks. Once you have tamed them you can use the Saddle and ride them – but there is a special quirk with camels as mounts. Using only one saddle, two players can ride one camel together! Also, unlike horses, camels move much slower, but if you press the space bar (or the equivalent jump button in the console version) you will activate the forward dash – a special move that these blocky Camels have. Have fun living out your Arabian fantasy in Minecraft 1.20.
