The first major content update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, including Scar, is scheduled to release on October 19, 2022. Like Ursula, it’s assumed that you’ll be able to befriend Scar and welcome him to your village, completing tasks and increasing your friendship level with him after you designate a spot he can call home.

The new update also continues the main storyline along with a few more surprises in store. An improved Photo Mode, new avatar poses, and over 40 bug fixes are coming in the new update, such as:

  • PS4 optimizations
  • Lightning VFX
  • Quest: Unable to collect lightbulb
  • Quest: Items stuck in store’s counter
  • Switch audio distortion
  • Rain doesn’t water crops

The patch also introduces a brand new Star Path to grind through, with new collectibles and rewards to obtain.
