When Does the Valorant Closed Beta End?

You've got a few more days left of the Valorant Closed Beta, so don't miss out!

If you’re a fan of first-person shooters, you’re likely familiar with Riot Games’ Valorant. It’s been fairly popular in the gaming community over the past couple of weeks, with only a limited number of players receiving keys to the closed beta trial. However, the closed beta has been going on for a while now, and lot’s of players are beginning to wonder when the Valorant closed beta will end?

When Does the Valorant Closed Beta End?

The Valorant closed beta is set to end on May 28 at 9:00 AM PT. Further, all beta servers will go completely offline at 10:30 AM PT. This means that if you currently have access to the beta, you only have a limited amount of time left to play until the full game launches on June 2.

Further, developers have shared that there will be no more beta key drops, as the beta is about to end. So if you don’t have a key yet, you’re not going to get one, sorry. Thankfully, Valorant will only be offline for a few days as the developers make the final tweaks to the game before it is released in full to the public.

Unfortunately, all Valorant closed beta progress will be reset when the servers are turned off, except for items earned from the player pass. Additionally, players will lose all in-store purchases made during the closed beta. While this is likely disappointing to most, developers have promised that your Valorant points will carry over to the full game with a +20% bonus. This means that you’ll have 20% more points in the full game than you did in the closed beta, so make sure to load up!

Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that Valorant will be completely free to download and play at launch. So if you didn’t make it into the closed beta, you’ll still get to play the game for free when it releases in a few short days! Riot Games has been on top of fixing the plethora of bugs that have appeared throughout the beta, so hopefully the full launch will go smoothly. It should be interesting to see what kind of new game modes and features developers can come up with post-launch, but for now it looks like we will have to wait and see.
