When Does The Fortnite Season End?

So, you’re wondering when the current season of Fortnite will end, and when we’re going to be able to crack into Season 2 of Chapter 2 of what is arguably the most popular battle royale at the moment? Well, you’re definitely not alone. The end date of this current season being rather nebulous has had fans pretty frustrated, but just as we were starting to wonder if it was just all a bad case of Groundhog Day, a plethora of leaks relating to Chapter 2 Season 2 has potentially given us a clue as to when we can expect new content.

It was recently leaked that the start date for Season 2 of Fortnite’s latest chapter would be 20 February. Now, this isn’t the first time that we’ve had a date seemingly confirmed and then withdrawn since, well, it was a leak. However, it’s more than we’ve had to go on for a while. Following that logic, Season 1 of Chapter 2 would be ending the day before that, which really only leaves us players a couple of days to bust through all the challenges and achievements that we’ve been wanting to get this season.

The leaks that have made their way to our eyeballs so far have been wild and wacky, so who knows what’s in store next season? However, if you’ve been wanting a little bit more clarity around the question of when does the Fortnite season end, we can say with a decent amount of confidence that the frequency of the leaks and the wrapping up of the recent Celebration Cup mean that the 20 February is as accurate as it’s going to get at this stage.
