When did Genshin Impact Come Out?

Genshin Impact originally came out on September 28, 2020, amassing a huge amount of popularity for its beautiful landscapes, flexible combat, and wonderfully designed characters in an interwoven story of fantasy and adventure. Breath of the Wild may have seen three years between its initial release and Genshin Impact’s, but the major source of inspiration was present within many aspects of the game. From the freedom to explore through a wide terrain that never felt empty or boring to the story of a journey to finding an important person while facing a myriad of challenges. Through its graphics and Archon Story, Genshin Impact captivated thousands within its release. 

The game made extraordinary numbers, hitting $60 million within its first week which was only rivaled by its competition and sister games such as Tower of Fantasy and Honkai: Star Rail, each respectively hitting $30~ million within its first day of release. Years later, this game continues to be a juggernaut within the gacha game community, turning on the top numbers within its genre and only continuing to come out with ever-popular updates.
