When Are Primal Groudon and Kyogre Coming to Pokemon Go? – Answered

Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre will make their Pokemon Go debut at the Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn in Las Vegas on February 18-19 of 2023.

This event will happen first in the Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn and then branch out elsewhere. So if you want to be one of the first players to get your hands on Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, you’ll need to buy a ticket to the Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn experience in Las Vegas. The date for Primal Groudon and Kyogre’s release to the general public has not been stated at this time.

Here is how to obtain the Primal forms according to the Pokemon Go official website:

“You can earn Primal Energy by defeating Primal Kyogre or Primal Groudon in a Raid Battle or by completing specific research tasks.

After undergoing Primal Reversion, Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon will stay in their primal form for eight hours, after which they will return to their standard form. The more times your Pokémon undergoes Primal Reversion, the less Primal Energy will be used.”
