The Cultist Circle in your hideout in Escape from Tarkov brings a lot of flavor to its base-building aspect. It is one of the most useful “utility” hideout features that offers players a way to trade with the cult. Players in PvE mode got to test it out immediately since their progress isn’t wiped, and here’s what you can expect from the Cultist Circle in your hideout in Escape from Tarkov.

Escape from Tarkov Hideout Cultist Circle, Explained

The Cultist Circle is a hideout area that works similarly to the Scav Case mechanic. You can sacrifice up to five items (which basically just means you are trading with the Cultists), and you’ll get an item of “equal” value. The word equal is used a bit loosely here because there are hidden parameters with regard to the value’s threshold on sacrificed items and how the value is calculated.

Battlestate Games always tries to be mysterious and let the players discover things on their own rather than giving them all the features outright. However, it is confirmed that reaching the “secret threshold” will give you a 25% chance to get something you need for your hideout or a quest. There is doubt because this is easily exploitable by making sure you have a task and your hideout that needs a LedX. Again, there should be more to it.

The Cultist Circle generally aims to help players finish tasks and upgrade their hideouts. Once a player is done with those, it is meant to act like a “Scav Case” feature where players can gamble their valuable or unwanted loot. Maybe you can even get a Red Keycard from it?

How to Construct the Cultist Circle in Escape from Tarkov

The Cultist Circle is a constructible area in your hideout that requires the following materials:

  • 1x Paid Roach
  • 5x Light Bulbs
  • 3x Can of White Salts
  • 1x SurvL
  • 1x Measuring Tape
  • 1x Wi-Fi Camera

You can get most of these items in one trip to Interchange by looting OLI, a random tech store, and some drawers. Wi-Fi Cameras can be bought from the Mechanic. It really depends on your preferred maps because all of these items are pretty common to find. You can even get these items in Factory.

If you want to farm these maps efficiently, you can try Marathon mode to get to multiple areas at once. Here’s a guide on all the transit locations to help you get around the maps.
