Choosing the best Perk Package is just as important as building a decent weapon in Warzone if you want to win. There are some great perk options this year, but there is one combination that I find to be the most effective.

Best Perk Package in Warzone Season 1

The best Perks for Warzone are Double Time, EOD, Quick Fix, and High Alert. Two of these are standard while the other two are in higher tiers of their own, just like the system in MW2. Each one ensures that your chances of survival around the map are increased due to more defense and additional movement speed.

Perk Slot 1 and Perk Slot 2 share the same options in the Perk Package and these seem to be the easiest to choose from. It’s hard to beat Double Time due to the increased Tac Sprint duration and refresh. Then EOD protects us from explosive damage. I can tell you from experience that players are going to be spamming explosives where they can.

I tried out Sleight of Hand for a while and it adds a lot of utility to the package, but it’s not typically worth the slot unless you are constantly aggressive. Most of the time, you will have a window to finish reloads.

The third perk slots is a bit more complicated. Tempered, Survivor, and Quick Fix are the three best options, but you can only choose one. I initially started with Tempered for faster plate protection. However, Quick Fix has a similar effect in that you start healing as soon as you use a plate. You also regen after a kill, so it’s much better for team fights.

Perk Slot 4 is also a tough choice. Ghost and Birdseye are fantastic options for counterplay that essentially cancel themselves out. High Alert is almost always beneficial, and with so many angles, you want to know when a sniper is scoped in on you in Warzone.

Make sure you get a good look at all the weapons in the first season of COD Warzone before jumping in.
