What is FFXIV Triggernometry? – Uses and Guide

First, Triggernometry is a plugin for the Advanced Combat Tracker program, which you will need to download before installing Triggernometry itself. This plugin will help you do a plethora of different things, but mostly it will give you information about raid encounters, gathering hubs, and Eureka.

After downloading ACT you’ll want to download the FFXIV specific plugin for Advanced Combat Tracker. the program is used for more than just FFXIV, so make sure you have the right version downloaded.

After downloading both of those, the final piece needed is Triggernometry. Download this and you’ll have all the things you need to get started.

Upon opening ACT you’ll be prompted by the Startup Wizard program to download/enable a plugin. Since you’ve done this already just click the Download/Enable button and it will add FFXIV to your list.

From here, just follow the directions by clicking “Yes” when asked if this will be used for FFXIV. From there, keep clicking next and then finally close.

Click on Get Plugins on the top right

Afterward, you’ll see a list of available plugins for FFXIV, find Triggernometry from the list and download it. This will then prompt you with a new menu that says “Local Triggers” and “Remote Triggers.”

Right-click the remote triggers folder, then click add, then “Repository from List.” You’ll then be able to download a bunch of different triggers from the GitHub repositories all over the internet.

Now you’ll be able to select all of these triggers for ACT that can be used for various things, from crafting to raiding.

Each of these downloads will come with README files explaining how to toggle them on and off in the game. Be sure that whatever triggers you download, you have clicked through them and read how each operates.

The majority of these triggers will give you displays and pull from internal logs to give you more information on what is happening. The best way to learn what each of these do is to simply play around with them in-game to find the ones that best suit your style.
