What Are Fate Episodes in Granblue Fantasy: Relink?

Should you go through the Fate Episodes of Granblue Fantasy: Relink?

One of the best parts of Granblue Fantasy: Relink is the rich, story-driven character links that you can view as you progress through the game. These are called Fate Episodes and can unlock not only new lore but a character’s hidden potential.

If you’re hoping to partake in a few Fate Episodes, you’ll need to wait until you’re in between missions when you return to the main town area. Speak with the receptionist at the Quest Counter, and select the option to watch the Fate Episodes.

The Quest Counter will give you a variety of different options, including the chance to play online multiplayer with your friends. In this particular situation, however, we’ll want to select the Fate Episode option to see what has happened in the past and find out more about our crewmates.

As you continue unlocking new characters in the story and finding new Crewmate Cards, you’ll get the chance to learn about previous adventures that members of your crew have partaken in or more about what them down the life they’re currently leading. It’s a great addition to the game, as each of the characters that have made their way into Granblue Fantasy: Relink have a unique tale to tell and offer plenty of insight into their goals and ambitions. I just love learning more lore about a game, especially when it’s as interesting as it is here.

As you continue completing chapters, you’ll unlock new Fate Episodes, so be sure to check back often to see if there are any new episodes that you can go through. Most of them are going to be just text and the character voicing what was happening, but you’ll also have the chance to unlock new Skills and Slots while taking control of your favorite characters and learning how they play. It’s worth checking out, especially since you receive plenty of EXP and bonuses for just hearing them out.

Be sure to check out our Granblue Fantasy: Relink section below to learn more about the game, and find out if you should pick Gran or Djeeta at the start of the game.
