Rogue Trader is a game chocked full of puzzles for you to complete, with one early puzzle giving people some headache. Here’s how to complete the Electrodynamic Cenobium puzzle in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader
How to Recite the First Galvanic Hymn in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader
The Electrodynamic Cenobium puzzle of Rogue Trader appears first when exploring the location of the same name on the planet Rykad Minoris. As you explore its many halls, you’ll come across a room with a kiosk called the Data Altar of Sacred Analysis. This will require you to recite the first Galvanic Hymn perfectly to receive the secret reward.
To solve this puzzle, you want to select the following options to complete each of the Hymn’s three verses:
- “the Omnissiah, from whom the holy discharge springeth forth”
- “the arcane key that closeth the circuit”
- “the immortal reason that hath created the spark”
If you want a better way to choose these, they’re the second, fifth, and fourth dialogue options respectively. If you miss one by accident, then no need to worry. You can keep retrying as many times as you want (that’s also what the game wants you to do, hilariously enough). Once you have the correct options inputted, a door nearby will open with a chest.
First Galvanic Hymn Rewards
Besides receiving an assortment of resources, completing the Electrodynamic Cenobium puzzle will net you an Arc Rifle and the Pinpointing Visor. The Arc Rifle is a two-handed ranged weapon that has a single firing mode but also deals damage to enemies within two cells of the target you hit. As for the Pinpointing Visor, the wearer of this will get a 15% increase to critical hit chance when hitting enemies with less than 50% health with a ranged attack. This makes it solid for snipers to finish off targets, though I won’t be using it myself. I have a helmet that reapplies exploits to enemies near the target I kill, which I think is better.
