Where to Find the Precision Intensify Mod in Warframe

The Precision Intensify mod has a chance to drop when killing the Assassination boss The Fragmented in the node Effervo on Deimos. Accessing this node requires that you complete the Whispers in the Wall quest. Upon killing The Fragmented, there’s a relatively small chance to drop Precision Intensify.

If I may make a suggestion, you should run this while farming the Assassination bounty from Fibonacci so that you’re picking up some extra rewards and Standing in the process. With a little determination, Precision Intensify should be yours.

Other than Precision Intensify, the Fragmented can also drop the Ready Steel, Shivering Contagion, and Energy Nexus mods. It can also drop a range of new Melee Arcanes added with the Whispers in the Walls update. Thankfully, you will always gain the Stela resource when defeating them so you won’t leave empty-handed.

What Does Precision Intensify Do?

The Precision Intensify mod, when maxed out, will provide 90% increased Ability Strength to your fourth Ability. This is your ultimate, such as Wisp’s Sol Gate ability. This makes it particularly strong on frames that can make use of their ultimate ability effectively. One example I would use in my gameplay is with Mesa and her Peacemaker ability since it’s such a central part of her kit. It’s also fun to fire 125 rounds out of a six-round clip sometimes.

With that being said, there’s a major caveat that makes this mod lose some of its charm. Precision Intensify will prevent you from using other Intensify variants, meaning you’re losing out on a heap of Ability Strength elsewhere in a frame’s kit. It does provide more to your fourth ability than other Intensify mods do, but it’s not always worth the loss elsewhere.
