One of the new materials introduced with Warframe’s Whispers in the Walls update, Vosfor, can be useful once you have enough. Here’s how to get and use Vosfor in Warframe.

How to Get a Lot of Vosfor in Warframe

Vosfor is earned by speaking with Loid in the Sanctum Anatomica, the new hub added with the Whispers in the Walls update. When speaking with him, select the Arcane Dissolution option and click on Dissolve Arcanes, found in the bottom right. This should pull up a laundry list of Arcanes you currently own.

From here, you want to select any Arcanes that you know you aren’t planning on using. For example, I have five Arcane Ices, which increase the chance to resist Heat as a status effect. A nice little buff, but compared to the other Warframe Arcane options, utterly useless. I’d rather be running Arcane Energize and Molt Augmented, but I digress.

You can only Dissolve unleveled Arcanes, so you won’t see your precious level 5 Arcane Energize appear here. As for how much you’ll get for each Arcane, this varies wildly from something as low as 14 to something as high 98 Vosfor.

How to Use Vosfor to Get New Arcanes

Once you have enough Vosfor, you can speak with Loid again to purchase an Arcane Collection pack. This is a group of three Arcanes from a particular location, letting you target farm certain Arcanes. If you don’t have it yet, I suggest focusing on the Eidolon Arcane Collection since its legendary rewards include Arcane Energize. Still, you can spend your Vosfor on whatever you wish. Each Arcane pack you purchase will set you back 50,000 Credits and 200 Vosfor.

Now before you go and farm up 2,000 Vosfor using the easiest Arcane farming method, you should hold off. Unless you don’t want to do a particular activity, it’s much more efficient to just farm for that Arcane rather than trying to farm them through Arcane packs. This is purely to get rid of unwanted Arcanes when farming other things, and nothing more.
