Why Is the Valorant Battle Pass Not Working?

It seems that there is a lot going wrong with the Valorant Battle Pass at the moment, so if you’re having some issues, you’re not alone. On one hand, some players are reporting that they’re able to unlock the rewards as they increase their rank, but they’re unable to equip them. On the flip side, some players have stated that they are unable to get their rewards from the Pass after reaching a specific level.

So while the Valorant Battle Pass error may be different for every player, it seems there is a common thread here — it’s broken. Over the past couple of hours, players have been reaching out to Riot on Twitter and through their website to report the bug, and it seems the team is aware of it. The official Valorant Twitter account posted on June 2 that it was aware of the issue and that it should be fixed “for everywhere but APAC (Asia-Pacific region).”

The official tweet from the Valorant team can be seen below:

So if you’re outside of the Asai-Pacific region and haven’t played recently, it might be worth giving it another go to see if the Valorant Battle Pass not working error has been fixed. If it’s still not working, then there really isn’t much you can do. It will be a waste of your time to try to uninstall and reinstall the game, as it’s an error on the development side of things, not with your game files.

In case you’re not aware, Valorant recently finished it’s closed beta period and officially released to the public. The game is able to be downloaded for free on PC, but you’ll need to make sure you have enough free space for the install and that your rig meets the minimum specs. With the official launch, developers have added a new Agent to the mix, named Reyna. If you’d like to know more, we’ve got a detailed guide about all of Reyna’s abilities.

Hopefully, now that the team has been made aware of the problem a patch will be released soon. In the meantime, there are lots of other great games out there to play.
