How to Make and Spend Money in Two Point Campus

Making Money in Two Point Campus
Tuition and Rent
Tuition will be your go-to money source throughout the entire game. As you unlock and upgrade your courses, you’ll gain more yearly students who will pay tuition fees. Similarly, more students at your campus result in higher rent income each month from your dorm rooms. Just be careful since unhappy students sometimes refuse to pay their tuition fees.
XP Bonuses
As your students take their classes, they’ll gain experience and level up in their respective subjects. The more students you have on campus getting experience points, the more bonus income you’ll get every month. To maximize your XP bonus income, keep your students happy to perform well in school. Furthermore, upgrade your courses each year to raise the maximum level cap.
Annual Awards
At the end of the school year, an awards screen will appear, showing each one you’ve won. For each one you receive, you’ll gain $5,000. If you have a perfect year and earn every award, you’ll receive up to $40,000. Some potential titles you can get include having the most attractive school, best clubs, most social relationships and highest overall stats.
Research Projects
Once you progress to Mitton University and unlock research, you’ll gain access to money-related projects. While some give you machine upgrades, others reward you with direct cash bonuses after a few months of research. However, you have to pay a small greenlight fee for each project you start.
Challenges and Suggestions
You’ll occasionally find small challenges and suggestion box tasks on each level you play that give you a $2,000 bonus. Some of these requests include collecting bookworms, training staff, reaching certain stat % thresholds and more. For the most part, these are relatively simple tasks that’ll quickly net you small rewards here and there.
Invasions
Starting at Noblestead, you’ll periodically find waves of invaders at your campus. From Noblestead onwards, they’ll appear in some form at every school you manage. For each invader wave you clear, you’ll gain $10,000 as a cash reward. While having enough janitors and medical rooms to clear larger waves starts to outweigh the benefit, the extra income is valuable early on.
Miscellaneous Methods
Numerous other level-specific money-making methods exist in the game, such as Cooking competitions, Cheeseball tournaments and archaeology, that are primarily effective at their respective schools. While you can do these at other campuses, they are not a main focal point outside their own levels. Despite this, they’re still useful if you have one of these as a secondary or tertiary course in your lineup and need a bit of extra money on the side.
Spending Money in Two Point Campus
As you make more money, you’ll have to allocate it to certain parts of your campus. However, regardless of the level you’re playing, your top priority is paying your monthly expenses while gaining enough to build new rooms and hire more staff. Some other costly purchases include but are not limited to the following:
- Machine upgrades
- Buying new plots of land
- Decorations
- Student assignment objects
- Event fees
- Food and Drink structures
- Staff training fees
As you progress through the game, having so many factors helps stress the importance of managing your money well and playing effectively. Thankfully, by taking some of the advice above and using every money-making method to your advantage, you’ll surely take huge steps towards completing every level you play.
