Call of Duty: Modern Warfare saw the franchise’s campaign game mode make a return following its hiatus in Black Ops 4. This year’s entry in the legendary first-person shooter series saw Infinity Ward create a dark and morally grey campaign for players to experience. Many players were fans of the title’s main story, which led them to wonder if it was possible to play the gripping story on the couch with a friend via split-screen like back in the days for World at War. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know about whether or not split-screen is available in the high-profile title.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Split-Screen Campaign
Unfortunately for those who were hoping to be able to couch co-op the campaign of the latest entry in the popular franchise, there is no split-screen feature available for players to use. There is also no way for players to play the main story of the game together online, which means that the Modern Warfare campaign for this title can only be enjoyed by yourself and not via split-screen.
However, that does not mean you can not switch off every mission or death with your friends and have an enjoyable time experiencing the thrilling story together in that manner. It is unfortunate, however, that you members of the community do not have the ability to both be in the adrenaline-fueled battles together.
