The Best Place to Farm Weapons in Enshrouded

Farming weapons in Enshrouded is incredibly easy. If you set up shop next to a golden chest, open it, and reload, the chest respawns, and you’ve suddenly got hundreds of high-level weapons and armor on tap. But there are countless golden chests around Embervale. Which one is the best? Here is the best place to farm weapons in Enshrouded.

Where Is the Place to Farm Weapons in Enshrouded?

The best golden chest to farm in all of Embervale is tucked away on a small, secluded cliff in the Kindlewastes Desert. The chest is in the highest-level area, requiring a level 6 Flame to safely explore the Deadly Shroud surrounding it. The chest, however, sits just outside of the Deadly Shroud, making it accessible even if you don’t have your Flame leveled up to the max.

The cliff in question is located right at the very bottom of the map. To get there, fast-travel to the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire and set off to the south in the direction of the Sun Temple at the edge of the map. There is a large cliff face behind the Sun Temple. On the other side of that cliff is the chest.

You will need a pickaxe or two to reach the chest, and you have a couple of options in terms of how to use it. You could tunnel straight through the cliff or use it to create stairs to make your way up and over the hill. Either way, you’ve got some mining ahead of you. You could also try to make your way around the back of the cliff from the right.

Once you reach the other side, you will be able to see the chest sitting on a small platform. A majority of the platform is covered in Deadly Shroud, but the chest itself isn’t, and neither is the space on the right side of the platform. Place a Flame Altar as far to the right as you can, making sure that the chest is outside the Flame Altar’s range. If the chest is too close to the Flame Altar, it won’t respawn when you reload your game.

With your Flame Altar in place, you’ve got a safe space clear of any enemies to farm the highest tier chest in the highest level area in the game. The sheer variety of goods to loot from this chest is seemingly endless, and although reaching it in the first place is quite the mission, it is well worth the effort.
