The Best Spacesuits in Starfield

The criteria for the best spacesuits in Starfield come down to a few key components, such as aesthetic, armor rating, resistance, unique effects, and the acquisition method involved with each one. And this so many in the game, it was tough to narrow things down to just a handful, but I think you’ll find these more than prove themselves as the best armors in the game.

Of course, there are surely other spacesuits in the game that we’ve missed, and likely more to come with future expansions and DLC to the game!

Mark I Spacesuit

This is, honestly, one of the easiest spacesuits in Starfield to acquire. Once you progress through the prologue of the game and receive the Constellation Lodge Key from Sarah Morgan, simply head downstairs into the basement. You’ll find a series of rooms, with one in the back housing a glass display case containing the Mark I Spacesuit. There’s a Master-level lock between you and this armor unless you opt to use the ongoing bug that allows you to scoop it up by aiming between the glass panels.

Mantis Spacesuit

The Mantis Spacesuit in Starfield is, without a doubt, one of the most unattractive armor sets in the whole game. But if you can look past its appearance, you’ll find an extremely strong and durable spacesuit with high resistance ratings that can take a punch. It’s also quite easy to acquire. You must first tackle the Constellation mission “The Old Neighborhood” alongside Sarah Morgan. You’ll loot the “Secret Outpost” slate from one of the mercenaries, which will lead you to the secret base housing the Mantis Spacesuit and Razorleaf.

Peacemaker Spacesuit

While perhaps one of the weakest spacesuits on this list, the Peacemaker Spacesuit in Starfield is still a fantastic mid-game armor that’s easily acquired. To get this one, head to Eleos Retreat and start the mission there. You’ll have a few different tasks, including finding a lost colonist, tracking down some bounty hunters, and resolving the entire issue one way or another. In the end, depending on how you solve the problem, you’ll receive the Peacemaker and Peacemaker Spacesuit in Akila City, courtesy of Laredo Firearms’ CEO.

The Starborn Spacesuit Venator in Starfield is easily one of the most challenging spacesuits in the game to acquire. It requires completing the main story missions and entering NG+ a total of nine times, which is quite the grind. If you’re willing to play through the game ten times, this is easily one of the strongest armor sets in the entire game. Seriously, nothing else compares.

It’s important to note that the Spacesuit Venator does include unique perks, but they randomize each time the armor spawns. You might wind up with something extremely powerful.

It’s a powerful, late-game armor set that suits combat-oriented playstyles extremely well. To acquire this unique armor set, you must visit Outland in New Atlantis. It’s one of the only vendors in the game to sell the spacesuit, though it’s completely random as to when it will appear.
