There are a plethora of things that players in the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons can do. One of these activities is getting star fragments to make a magic wand, which allows players to switch between outfits whenever they would like. However, players will need to perform specific actions to be able to acquire the star fragments required for the outfit wand. Star Fragments Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Players who are looking to get some star fragments will need to wait for the character known as Celeste to appear on their island. She will appear on your island following sunset, so this is the time of day when you will need to find her on your island. She is a red owl, so players should not have too much trouble finding her if she is indeed on your island. 

Celeste will tell you that you will need to wish upon stars. You will then need to keep an eye out in the night time sky and look for any shooting stars. Press up and on the right joystick and press A to wish upon one of these shooting stars. The stars will glow, and your character will close their eyes and put their hands together if you were successful in wishing upon one of the shooting stars.

Now, you will then need to go to the beach the next day and look alongside where the beach meets the ocean. You will then see yellow star-like rocks on the beach. These are the star fragments that you will get from fishing upon shooting stars. 

There is no doubt that players will be happy with what they can create when they get enough star fragments in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
